Part 1: How to convert videos & extract audio

Import video files

Click the "Add Files" button on the menu bar or in the left pane of the program window and then in a pop-up window, browse your computer's files and select files to import. Or, you can directly drag & drop video files from your computer into the app as well. This video converter also supports batch conversion so you can save time.

Choose the desired output format

In the "Output Format" pane on the right side of the program window, click the format drop-down list to open the output format window. There are tons of formats for video, audio and portable devices. Just choose the one you want.

If need, you can hit the gear-like button at the bottom of the "Output Format" pane to customize the detailed settings for the output files, such as encoder, resolution, frame rate and bit rate etc.

Start video conversion

Click "Convert" to begin video conversion. This app can do the rest automatically. The progress bar will show you how much is finished. You can optionally pause or restart the conversion during the process. After conversion, you can find the output files by hitting the "Open Output" option in the main interface.

Part 2: How to transfer videos to devices wirelessly

1. Upon completion of your file's conversion, you'll be given the options to either retrieve your converted files or to transfer them for playback on your choice of portable device.

Also you can use this app to transfer the downloaded videos to your portable devices wirelessly. Just click the phone icon on the downloaded videos.

2. If you haven't installed the Wondershare Player's app on your device, you need to download and install it for the WiFi transfer at the first time.

3. Once installed, just use your device to scan the QC code generated for the converted file and the transfer will start automatically.

Part 2: How to download videos

If you want to download videos from some video-sharing site, you can use Chrome, IE or Firefox to access the site first. And then, find the videos you like and play them. Third, click each "Download" icon on the top-right corner of these videos and select one of your wanted video specs to download them.

Or copy a video URL you want to download, and then open this app's download list at the bottom, where you need to hit the "Add URL" button to paste the video URL there. Click "Ok" to start downloading it.

Part 3: How to edit videos

You can edit your videos before conversion to make a personalized video by clicking Edit option. You can trim, crop video, set effects, add watermark and a plug-in subtitle. And then preview it in real time while doing this.

Click Edit button on each video item bar. Then in the trimming panel, drag and drop the two sliders below the progress bar to set the clipping area, next, hit the scissor-like button to trim the section.

Crop video

Choose an output aspect ratio: Keep Original, Full Screen, 16:9, 4:3, letter box and pan & scan. You can drag the rectangular selection box to set the displaying area, and rotate the video screen horizontally or vertically.

Apply effects

Apply special effects to personalize your video, such as old film, negative, grey and emboss etc. Or you can leave it as No effect.

Add watermark

Image watermark and text watermark are enabled here. And you can customize the transparency, position and size of the watermark. For text watermark, you can also set its font, color, size and style etc.

Add a plug-in subtitle

You can enable the plug-in subtitle for your video, and also, you can customize it in your own style.
