Set output format
Before the conversion, you should select an output format for the output files. Click the output format drop-down list on the right side of the main interface to select format you need. If you select image as the output format, by default, the output format is .jpg. Or you just click the Advance Setting button to select BMP(*.bmp), GIF(*.gif), PNG(*.png), or TIFF(*.tiff) as the output format.

Convert PDF files
Click the Convert button to begin the PDF conversion. In 1 or 2 minutes, the conversion should be finished. After the conversion, you can click the folder icon on each PDF item bar to see the output file.
Tips:
On Wondershare PDF Converter and PDF Converter Pro, you're empowered to select a special page or page ranges to convert. See a column named as Selected Pages, right? Just click it to set the page(s) you want to convert.
Note: OCR is only available on PDF Converter Pro. To convert scanned PDF files with PDF Converter Pro, follow the simple steps below.

Add scanned PDF files and enable the OCR function
Drag and drop PDF files to PDF Converter Pro. When a scanned PDF is added, PDF Converter Pro will remind you of selecting the right language for the scanned PDF. Select the language and click the Enable OCR button.
Note: When the scanned PDF file is in Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Chinese Traditional, or Korean, you need to click the Download and Install link to download the OCR component.

Select output format and set preference
After enabling the OCR function, you should click the output format drop-down list to select the format for the upcoming output document: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Text, HTML, or EPUB. If necessary, click the Advance Setting button to set your preference for the output files (details in Flexible output options for output document).

Convert scanned PDF files
After you finish the steps above, click the Convert button to let PDF Converter Pro convert scanned PDF to editable Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Image, Text, HTML, EPUB for you.
Wondershare PDF Converter and PDF Converter Pro support converting password protected PDF files. If the PDF is protected from copying, editing, and printing, directly click the Convert button to begin the conversion. If the PDF is protected from opening, a lock will appear on the PDF item bar. Click the lock to enter the right password to unlock it first. And then convert it.
PDF Converter Pro is capable of saving almost any file as PDF document. What all you need is ensure that the file you're going to save as PDF can be opened on your computer. Otherwise, PDF Converter Pro cannot save the PDF files for you.

Import files that you're going to save as PDF
Launch PDF Converter Pro and click the Create PDF tab to reveal the creating PDF interface. Click the Add Files to browse and open the files, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Text and more that you want to save as PDF.

Save files as PDF format
Before saving files as PDF format, you're able to set your preference for the output PDF files: combining these files into a single PDF and exporting these files as image-based PDF. If you need, check the box on the right side of the interface. When it is ready, click the Create button to save the added files as PDF.
On PDF Converter Pro, users can take control of PDF files easily. You can set password to protect your PDF files.

Upload the file you desire to protect
To take control of a PDF, you need to click the Create PDF tab to reveal the creating PDF interface. Click the Add Files button to add the files (PDF files or other documents that you're going to save as PDF). After adding files, you'll see a little advanced settings button on each PDF item bar. Click it to reveal the Properties dialogue box. On the box, click Advance…, navigate to Security.

Protect PDF with passwords or permissions
If you do not want everyone to view the PDF file, you're able to set a password to protect it from being opened. Check the Use Security box and set your password. Only People who know the password can open it.
Besides adding password, you are able to add permissions to protect the PDF from being copied, edited, and printed.
After you select the output format and the Option button below the panel will be enabled. Click it to customize the output Excel spreadsheets, EPUB eBook, images and HTML files.
PDF to Excel:
Retain value without formatting: is the default option. It saves all the original text, numbers in PDF tables to Excel cells after converting PDF to Excel, without preserving the original formatting.
Retain original formatting of forms: allow you to preserve text, numbers and formatting in the original PDF file. This option is not suitable for some un-regular PDF tables, as there might be some positioning error that may affect the usual calculation after conversion.
Combine all pages into a single Excel sheet: It allows you to export PDF files in a single Excel page.
PDF to EPUB:
Text and images to EPUB: convert the text and images of the original PDF file to EPUB format. Users can copy the text or save images from the converted files.
Each page as an image to EPUB: convert each page of a PDF file as a whole image. The converted file looks the same as the PDF, but users cannot copy the text or save the images in the file.
PDF to Image:
Extract Images: Allows you to extract each page of PDF files as one image or only extract images off PDF files.
Image Format: Options for the output image format.
PDF to HTML:
HTML Settings:Empowers you to ignore the original hyperlinks in the output HTML documents.
Image Settings: Option for you to customize images within the original file for the output HTML pages.
