Form menu

To start creating or editing PDF forms,

1. Open a blank PDF page or an existing PDF form file.
2. Change to select text mode by clicking Select Text.
3. To exit form editing, click Forms>Close Form Editing.

Add text fields

Text field is for typing text, to add the text field, do as follows:

1. Click Forms>Add text field,
2. The cursor will change into a cross with rectangle, click anywhere you want to add the text field and then drop the proper size of the text field.
3. To move the position, click on the text field, drag and drop to a new place. Or move the cursor over the rectangle edge, when the cursor becomes cross with direction, click and hold the text field to move to where you want.

Add Check Box, Radio Button

Check Box is for multiple selection, while Radio Button is for single selection, to add them, follow the follow steps:

1. Click Forms>Check Box (Or Radio Button)
2. The cursor will change into a cross with rectangle, click anywhere you want to add the Check Box (or Radio Button) and then drag the proper size to add.
3. To move the position, click on the Check Box (or Radio Button), drag and drop to a new place.

Add Combo Box, List Box

Combo Box and List Box are both a list to choose, the difference is you can choose one option by dropping down the list in Combo Box while you can click one of the options in List Box. To add Combo Box or List Box, follow the steps:

1. Click Forms>Combo Box (or List Box)
2. The cursor will change into a cross with rectangle, click anywhere you want to add the Combo Box (or List Box) and then drag the proper size to add.
3. To move the position, click on the Combo Box (or List Box), drag and drop to a new place.

Add Button

PDF form button is for some kind of actions like calculating, submitting, running forms, opening etc. You can always customize the action you want. To add form button, follow the steps:

1. Click Forms>Button
2. The cursor will change into a cross with rectangle, click anywhere you want to add the button and then drag the proper size to add.
3. To move the position, click on the button, drag and drop to a new place.

Edit Forms

For each object, you can do edit, move, delete, and set properties,

  • To copy and paste, right-click on the object, choose copy/cut, and then right-click to where you want to place the object then choose paste.
  • To move the object, click on the button, drag and drop to a new place. Or move the cursor over the rectangle edge, when the cursor becomes cross with direction, click and hold the text field to move to where you want.
  • To edit the properties, double-click on the object to activate the properties window, you can customize the general option, appearance, object options as well as actions and so on.
