Annotation:Underline, Adding Squiggly Line, Strikethrough Text & Caret

Wondershare PDFelement supports PDF text underline, squiggly line, strikethrough and caret.

To underline text, please follow the steps below

1. Go to the Comment menu and click the Underline icon.

2. Then select the text on the PDF page you want to underline, by default the line color is green.

3. If you want to change the line's color and opacity, right-click the underline and select Properties. You can see the Properties sidebar showing on the right and do the changes as you need.

To add squiggly line under text, please follow the steps below.

1. Move to the Comment menu and click the Squiggly line icon under it.

2.Select the text on the PDF page to add squiggly line under it. The line is in orange by default.

3. To adjust properties of the squiggly line, right-click the line and select Properties. Make the change as you want in the Properties sidebar on the right.

To strikethrough text, please follow the steps below.

1. Click the Strikethrough button under the Comment menu.

2. Then select the text you want to strikethrough, by default the line color is red.

3. To modify properties of the strikethrough line, right-click the strikethrough and select Properties. Make the changes as you prefer in the Properties sidebar on the right.

To insert a caret, please follow the steps below.

1. Click the Caret icon under the Comment menu.

2. Select the text on the PDF page that you need to insert a caret. The caret icon will appear just behind your selected text. Double-click the Caret icon and add a note in the text box. You can see the inserted content every time you move cursor over the caret icon.

3. To change color or opacity of the caret icon, right-click it and choose Properties from the drop-down menu. Select color and opacity degree as you prefer in Appearance.
